About us
QueerViBE was developed by a team of researchers as part of a PhD programme of research funded by Anglia Ruskin University. The website was developed with a grant award by the University of Greenwich.
The intervention was informed by focus groups conducted throughout the UK with trans and non-binary youth about their experiences of prejudice.
The intervention was evaluated in a randomised controlled trial and found to be affective in improving scores on measures of depression, anxiety, psychological well-being, self-esteem, stress appraisal, positive transgender identity and group self-esteem.
The current intervention is informed by feedback from participants on how to improve QueerViBE in the future.
